Severity, exploit probability and exploitation status for one vulnerability, drawn from NVD, FIRST EPSS and CISA's exploited catalogue.
inferred from weakness class no curated mapping exists for this CVE; these are the techniques typically seen with CWE-416, CWE-755, CWE-824, CWE-1325 vulnerabilities
Adversaries may abuse command and script interpreters to execute commands, scripts, or binaries.
via sub-technique T1059.007 JavaScript
Inferred from CWE-416, CWE-824.
Adversaries may exploit software vulnerabilities in client applications to execute code.
Inferred from CWE-416.
An adversary may rely upon specific actions by a user in order to gain execution.
via sub-technique T1204.002 Malicious File
Inferred from CWE-416, CWE-824.
Adversaries may exploit software vulnerabilities in an attempt to elevate privileges.
Inferred from CWE-416.
Adversaries may attempt to dump credentials to obtain account login and credential material, normally in the form of a hash or a clear text password.
Inferred from CWE-416.
Adversaries may perform Endpoint Denial of Service (DoS) attacks to degrade or block the availability of services to users.
via sub-technique T1499.003 Application Exhaustion Flood
Inferred from CWE-1325.
PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE).
CVSS measures how bad exploitation would be; EPSS estimates how likely exploitation is within 30 days; the CISA listing means it is already happening. Read them together: a CVSS 9.8 with EPSS 0.04% is usually less urgent than a CVSS 7.2 on the exploited list. Data: NVD, FIRST EPSS, CISA KEV; detail is cached for a week, scores for a day. ATT&CK techniques come from the CTID KEV mappings project where a curated mapping exists, otherwise they are inferred from the weakness class and labelled as such.
