These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the pfAdmin iOS application ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer or resell the app except as permitted by law.
The app is a client that connects to pfSense firewalls that you own or are authorised to administer, over SSH, to monitor and change their configuration. You are responsible for having the right to access and modify any firewall you connect to.
The app can perform actions that affect a live firewall, including changing rules, blocking addresses, managing users and certificates, restoring configurations, restarting services and interfaces, and rebooting or halting the device. You are solely responsible for the actions you take with the app and for their consequences, including any loss of connectivity, service disruption, misconfiguration or data loss. Always keep independent backups and test changes carefully.
The app connects as a privileged (root) user and stores your credentials in the device Keychain. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure, for enabling the app lock and device passcode if others can access your device, and for restricting SSH access on your firewalls appropriately.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every pfSense version or configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, connectivity, profits or business, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the app.
pfAdmin is an independent client and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Netgate or the pfSense project. pfSense is a trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to describe compatibility.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have.
